This workshop dives into barridas (sweeps), ganchos and enganches (wraps & leg hooks)—playful movements that bring drama, elegance, and creativity to your dance. Perfect for beginner/intermediate and intermediate dancers: ***New to these moves? You’ll get a clear, solid introduction. ***Seen them before? Expect refined technique and fresh insights. What you’ll learn: ***How groundedness, balance, and leg dissociation make these moves effortless ***Clean lead/follow connection that create confidence and freedom ***The core principles behind sweeps & wraps, plus a couple of flowing combos to dance right away. When danced well, these figures feel silky-smooth and connected—or sharp and dynamic when the music calls for it.
